Walk to School Day

Colby's school had their annual 'walk to school day'. Ryan had 'youth 2000' this morning at 8:00...so we sent Ryan off, then Colby, Taylor and I, headed out for the 2-mile walk to school. It was a chilly but beautiful morning and I truly enjoyed the chance to walk and chat about nothing and everything with Colby. Taylor was content all bundled up in the stroller with his milk and pretzels (his favorite snack). It was a great start to our day.

Colby took a picture of Taylor and I.

Taylor taking a picture of Colby and I. (I know...what was I thinking handing my camera to my 3 year old)

That's such a good idea to have a walk to school day! Taylor did a great job taking your picture!

Your boys are growing so fast. Seems like we haven't seen you forever! Hope you are well- I just found your blog through Marc and Jen's. Love it! Isn't it fun?!

LOVE Seinfeld. LOVE the shrinkage episode! And your right. It nails it right on the head!

I can't believe you guys are already bundled up and frosty in your part of the world. Today I was a chaperone for Logan's field trip at the zoo. It was 98 degrees!!! And we walked all over the place. My hands swelled up like sausages. Misery! I want to wear sweaters and a hat. Instead I nearly had to strip naked on the bus...but my friend told me that would probably be inappropriate. Whatever!

That is so nice that Colby's school has functions like that, how fun. We miss you guys and can't wait until thanksgiving to see all of you. Give the boys big hugs from us!

I love that idea. What a neat opportunity to talk to Colby. Colby did a good job on that picture of you and Taylor. All of you look cute in your little hats. What a great way to start the day.

What are those funny looking things on your heads? And why in the world are you wearing long sleeves? We're down here with 90 degree weather wearing caprees, flip flops, and bras for shirts (well, not me, but...) Looks like fall has arrived up north! You look great!! And what talented kids - photographers!!!
